07 грудня 2023 року на базі Міжнародного центру культурно-освітньої інтеграції спільно з відділом по роботі з іноземними студентами та представниками факультетів/інституту Уманського державного педагогічного університету імені Павла Тичини відбувся семінар для студентів-іноземців на тему "Академічна доброчесність - це важливо!".
On December 7, 2023, a seminar for foreign students on the topic "Academic integrity is important!" was held on the basis of the International Center of Cultural and Educational Integration together with the Foreign Students Department and representatives of the faculties/institute of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
Метою даного заходу було роз'яснення для студентів-іноземців інформації про академічну доброчесність, види академічного плагіату та умови за яких настає академічна відповідальність. Також наголошувалося на важливості дотримання принципів академічної доброчесності відповідно до законодавства України.
Саме академічна доброчесність – це те підґрунтя, яке сприятиме формуванню та становленню довіри до системи вищої освіти України. У ході семінару також відбулося обговорення поняття «академічна доброчесність» в освітніх закладах різних країн.
The purpose of this event was to clarify for foreign students information about academic integrity, types of academic plagiarism and the conditions under which academic responsibility arises. It was also emphasized the importance of observing the principles of academic integrity in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
It is academic integrity that will contribute to the formation and establishment of trust in the higher education system of Ukraine. During the seminar, the concept of "academic integrity" in educational institutions of different countries was also discussed.
